Invitation to tender of the BMBF: Funding Program "Foundations: Innovative startups for human-technology interaction"

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is supporting as part of its Human-Technology Interaction (HTI) research program "Bringing technology to people" the launch of the project tender "Foundations: Innovative startups for human-technology interaction", the establishment of startups through targeted promotion of appropriate research teams and tailored support of already established young startups in research and development (R&D).

With the program, the BMBF aims to strengthen the innovation potential of startups in the field of cutting-edge research on human-technology interaction. On the one hand, the opportunity for the foundation of startups should be improved by targeted promotion of suitable research teams at universities and research institutions (module 1) and on the other hand young already founded startups should be precisely supported in research and development (R&D) (module 2).

The Innovation Center Connected Living provides the perfect setting to work together on project ideas and form consortia in our strong cross-industry network. The deadline for submission for project outlines of the modules 1 and 2 is April 15, 2017 and October 15, 2018 (maximum 10 pages).

If you have a project idea, want to elaborate your idea in a workshop together with our members and us or if you are looking for partners for the submission of a sketch, please contact Jakob Schofer from the office.

Detailed information about the tender can be found here.
